Simple and elegant, I created this Labradorite collection, to complement the wearer's inner goddess. The teardrop stone measures 2 1/4 inches and is electroformed with a layer of pure copper. The adjustable copper chain measures 15-18."

Labradorite is a stunning crystal- these pictures do not do the stone justice. It is a crystal whose charm is not fully noticed and may be overlooked if not viewed from the proper position. When the light hits the gray stone, flashes of purple, yellow and blue, called labradorescence are revealed. Throughout history, people have used labradorite to stimulate imagination, develop enthusiasm and thus, create new ideas. Copper promotes wellbeing and amplifies the energy of the crystal.

Electroforming is a process where pure copper is deposited to crystals as they are suspended in a copper sulfate chemical solution while attached to an electrical device called a rectifier. This multifaceted procedure takes several days to complete and blends both science and art.
